The 'Students With A Goal' (SWAG) Flexible Learning Program is designed for students who are identified as being at risk of becoming an early school leaver. Students from both Nambour State College and Burnside SHS may be referred to SWAG.

The SWAG program supports students to re-engage in learning and to work towards their identified career goals. Learning activities include Numeracy and Literacy and various Life Skills programs such as Work Education, Cooking, Health Education, Volunteering as well as positive leisure activities.

Students are expected to meet minimum behavior and attendance expectations in order to maintain their place in the program. Students are case managed and referred to appropriate school-based and community support agencies as required. The SWAG program operates off-campus from a classroom and office space located at the Sunshine Coast PCYC.
