Nambour State College was founded in 2016, resulting from the amalgamation of Nambour State High School and Nambour State School. Two of the oldest schools on the Sunshine Coast had co-existed for decades and decided to join forces to help provide the best possible education for our students.
Students enjoy extensive facilities and resources in this large campus in the heart of Nambour. Whatever age your child joins the college, they will benefit from common teaching and support programs that run from prep through to year 12. Literacy and numeracy development will run seamlessly for the 13 years of schooling and students can easily accelerate their learning.
We’re having a School Review from 27 to 29 July. Community
feedback is welcome, so come and have your say and support our college.
Feedback remains confidential. For more information please call the school
office on 5450 4120 or visit the Department of Education and Training website:
The annual School Opinion Survey will be conducted 11
to 29 July 2016. All families, school staff and a random sample of students will
be invited to participate. We encourage you to take this opportunity to have your
say about what this school does well, and how this school can improve.
for the Parent/Caregiver Survey will
be sent home with students this week or posted home.
