Nambour Academy of Creative Arts (NACA)
The Nambour Academy of Creative Arts (NACA) offers motivated and creative students in Years 7 to 10 the opportunity to extend their talents in Music, Dance, Drama, or Visual Art through a high-quality excellence program. NACA is designed for students who demonstrate passion, commitment, and potential in their chosen art form and who are eager to challenge themselves creatively.
About the Program
Students accepted into NACA participate in weekly excellence classes (either before school or after school) in their selected discipline. This is in addition to the school's regular Arts curriculum.
The program has a strong practical focus, providing students with enriching opportunities such as:
- Performances and exhibitions
- Workshops with industry professionals
- Participation in competitions and events
Areas of Excellence
Applicants may apply for one of the following areas:
- Music
- Dance
- Drama
- Visual Art
Students must audition for their chosen discipline.
NACA Scholarship
A limited number of NACA Scholarships are available to students enrolled in the Nambour Academy of Creative Arts (NACA). Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate creative potential, commitment to an Arts pathway, and evidence of achievement. The scholarship covers the Student Resource Scheme (SRS) for the year and does not include extra-curricular fees. Students wishing to be considered must complete the scholarship section as part of their NACA audition application.
