All Senior Campus students have access to a variety of digital platforms. These digital platforms can be accessed through the Nambour State College Compass website. They have been established to provide opportunities for students if absent or if a school closure is enacted, to continue their learning and engage in curriculum activities.
Once students have logged into the Nambour State College Compass website, they can access three learning environments through the Favourites tab on the desktop version of Compass that is identified as Star at the top of the page. There are three available digital supports:
- eLearn – Virtual classrooms: Many classes and faculties classes have established curriculum and assessment items available to students. When students log in they will only see classes established specifically for them. This platform will support students from Years 7-12.
- Mighty Minds: The Mighty Minds link will enable students from Years 7-10 to access self- paced learning tasks and self-assessments to support learning across English, Maths, Science and Humanities. Students will receive emails to their school email as work is made available through the Mighty Minds portal. All students in Years 7-12 will receive an email with their personalised login and password details.
- Curriculum Support for Continuity of Learning: This platform provides a variety of curriculum activities to engage ongoing student learning. This supports all students from Years 7-10. It is important that students requiring access at home, know their login and passwords. Students who are off campus and don't know their login details should follow the below link and follow the instructions.
